The Hex Tent is a six sided, pyramidal design made with breathable wind resistant, od. cotton sateen cloth. The breathable properties of the cloth allows the the transfer of interior condensation to the outside. The roof contains a stovepipe shield to accomidate a standard 4 inch military stovepipe. The floor area is 113 sq. ft. with each side wall 6 foot 7 inch long. The eave height is 2 foot high with a peak height of 8 feet 6 inches supported with a magnesium center pole. The shipping cube is 3.8 cubic feet and the weight is 56 lbs. Erection time is 15 minutes for 5 soldiers and a strike time of 10 minutes.
