PRODUCT CERTIFICATION

DSCP is committed to selling tentage that has been formally tested to meet  requirements such as:
Environmental Requirements operating temperature range,  humidity,  rain, condensation, wind load, snow load, resistance to sunlight, salt fog resistance, blowing sand and dust and environmental acids.  Dimensional and fit requirements are certified to insure modularity and compatibility with future replacement parts.  Storage shelf life and transportability are also cretified.  In addition to the product certification in plant quality assurance is monitored by government representitives.
Formal certification is by U.S. Army Natick Research, Development and Engineering Center in conjunction with U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command Aberdeen Test Center.

If you think soldiers are tough on tents just look at what the evaluators put them
through before certification.

CERTIFIED FIRE RESISTANCE

All major fabrics must be laboratoy tested for flame retardancy.  The laboratories are
also required to pass government certification.  Historically fabrics that fail to meet
our standards are sold to less stringent commercial tentage.
Beware when you buy a non DSCP Tent.
